Meeting safely during COVID-19
I hope you are faring well and staying safe during this uncertain time!
With the spread of COVID-19, I want to do what I can to keep all of us safe – including my clients, their families and close connections, and the entire community. I’ve been experimenting with how to keep my office “clean,” from doorknobs to water coolers to passing materials back and forth, and let’s just say: it’s challenging! I’m also realizing there is no way to know the health of others who pass through this public building. For these reasons, until the threat of the virus has subsided, I have told my current clients that I am transitioning away from meeting face to face, and instead we’ll work together via phone, Skype, or FaceTime.
I will miss the intimacy that comes from face-to-face meetings. But for years, I’ve worked effectively with out-of-town clients using remote options, and I believe my local clients will benefit from working this way, too.
And – with all that feels out of control with this virus, it feels empowering to say this is one step that clients and I can take to keep as many of us as safe as possible.
Feel free to let me know if you have comments or questions, and if you want to meet, I look forward to being with you soon.
Take good care –
